Cath Lab Technologist Job in Columbus, GA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus, a Trauma Level II facility. This role involves diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization in a 2-room laboratory, supporting procedures on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Position Details

• Shift: 5x8 Days with every other weekend schedule
• Duration: 84 weeks
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,678.40

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience; travel experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS certifications
• State licensure if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Full compliance and clinical screening required for final approval

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and cardiovascular interventions
• Participate in 4-person call team (2 teams, every other weekend call)
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Work assigned holidays per contract schedule: work 1 of 1, both of 2, or 2 of 3 falling during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
