Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Maintain 5:1 patient to staff ratios
• Deliver care to adult patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and with a broad range of medical conditions
• Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision
• Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
• Provide direct care for patients in the Hospital and Ambulatory Service Center from admission to discharge
• Handle all aspects of care including discharge planning
• Give direction to LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, and Dietary Staff
• Receive direction from Providers, Charge Nurse, Acute Care Director, and CNO
• Interact effectively with patients and significant others while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Position classified as Rapid Response Crisis priority
