Job Details:

• Work across various service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, and more
• Schedule includes weekends and call responsibilities
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate activities of other team members while executing interventions in urgent or emergent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff within or out of the sterile field
• Prep operating room for patient procedures and position and prepare patients on the operating table
• Serve as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating team
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings
• Maintain proficiency in computer programs utilized to deliver patient care
