<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday with 1 hour lunch break<br>• Rotating weekend schedule working every 4th to 5th weekend<br>• Call coverage required on scheduled weekends plus 1-2 weekdays per week<br>• Perform echocardiograms including TEE and intraoperative studies<br>• Conduct vascular studies with registered technologist supervision when registry eligible<br>• Perform stress echos, TCD studies, and TCOM studies as applicable<br>• Conduct EKGs, stress tests, holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring<br>• Assist with clerical and reception duties<br>• Maintain continuing education requirements<br>• Keep work areas stocked and equipment clean<br>• Assume supervisor responsibilities when needed<br>• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics<br>• Handle approximately 30 visits per day<br>• Required certifications: Basic Life Support, ARDMS or CCI Registered in Vascular Technology<br>• Preferred certification: ARDMS or CCI Registered in Echocardiography<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required<br>• Travel experience highly preferred<br>• Must have vascular registry required and echo registry preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 300 beds serving a diverse patient population. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 100 patients and offers advanced cardiovascular services including echocardiography and vascular studies.
