Radiation Therapist Job in Supply, NC

You will work as a Radiation Therapist on a 13-week travel assignment at Novant Health Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology Brunswick. This is a full-time role with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Scheduling & Work Environment

• 5x8 shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasionally 9:00 AM–6:00 PM)
• Alternative 4x10 shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM with 30-minute lunch break
• No call requirements and no weekend coverage
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• You will float between two clinical sites within the Wilmington, NC coastal region (maximum 30-minute drive)
• Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignment required during catastrophic events

Your Role & Responsibilities

You will deliver external beam radiation therapy using advanced imaging and treatment planning. You will work with CT simulation, custom molds, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, IMRT, and Varian equipment. You will operate the ARIA system and support adult acute care protocols.

What You Will Not Do

• Cut blocks
• Perform CT simulations alone
• Perform dose calculations
• Work alone—you will always be paired with at least one other therapist

Clinical Support

An MD and RN are always on-site throughout the day. No orientation or dimensions training is required—you can start directly in clinic.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Current ARRT T certification
• Current BLS certification
• Royal blue scrubs (not provided by employer)

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,407.68. The assignment runs 91 days, starting June 29, 2026.
