CVOR Technologist Job in Prescott, AZ

You'll work as a Surgical Tech specializing in cardiovascular operating room support at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,868.80.

Schedule and Expectations

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (5x8 days)
• On-call responsibilities up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning
• Weekend on-call coverage up to 50% of weekends
• 30-minute call response time required
• House supervisor available in-house from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Your Role

You'll scrub and support surgical cases in 6 operating rooms, including 1 dedicated CVOR and 1 hybrid room. You'll handle 20–30 cases per day, including 1–2 cardiovascular cases or up to 4 TAVR procedures. Common cases include CABG, aortic valve, mitral valve, and TAVR procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of open heart experience required
• BLS certification required
• Allied Health Professional degree

Facility Resources

You'll work with the Cerner EMR system and have access to charge nurses and specialty leads as resources. The hospital provides scrubs.

Contract Terms

Cancellation policy allows 4 shifts per contract or 3 shifts if your contract is under 13 weeks.
