CVOR Technologist Job in Indianapolis, IN

IU Health Methodist Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday) at this Level 1 Trauma Center in Indianapolis.

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,047.68
• Assignment start: June 1, 2026
• Call requirement: 90–120 hours of call within a 6-week rotation
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Current BCLS and NBSTSA certifications
• Extensive vascular and thoracic surgery experience
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac and vascular procedures including: pump line preparation and cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection
• Ability to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

About You

You have solid Level 1 Trauma experience and a strong surgical background. Travel experience is preferred, but first-time travelers with documented Level 1 Trauma experience are welcome to apply. You are flexible, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a high-acuity surgical team.
