Electrophysiology Technician

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekends, no holidays, and no call required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
• EP experience required with pacemaker/defibrillator implants, ablations, PVI, and all other EP-associated procedures
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses including atrial fibrillation/flutter, bradycardia, ventricular arrhythmia, atrial arrhythmia, and valvular disease
• Special procedures include structural heart/LAAO, EPS, mapping (Carto, ESI), all types of ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, sterile procedures, and cardioversions
• Special equipment used includes BARD, Carto, ESI, and PFA
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available for travelers
• May float within scope to meet facility needs but will more than likely remain in Cath Lab
• No floating to sister facilities required
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS
• Active WV license required to start assignment
• Skills required include cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, electrophysiology evaluation, fluoroscopy, pacemaker insertion, permanent pacemaker insertion, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sterile technique, and more
