Med Surg RN Job in Memphis, TN

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 48-bed medical surgical unit at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x12 night shifts, 48-hour work weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,764.80
• Self-scheduling system
• On-call shifts and weekend coverage as needed
• Must work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during your assignment

Unit Details

• 48-bed unit with daily census of 46 patients
• Team nursing environment with 1:12 patient ratio
• Support from 2 PCCs, 2 LPNs, 2 RNs, and medication nurses
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical surgical diagnoses
• May float between like units or campuses within 20-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent medical surgical nursing experience (3+ years preferred)
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Skills in IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Valid driver's license
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
