CVOR Technologist

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with varying off day
• On-call required with 2-3 call shifts per week and at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours covering Saturday and Sunday)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 1 year of surgical tech experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Cases include Adults, Adolescents, and Geriatrics with General and Neuro Surgery required; Cardiovascular cases preferred
• CVOR experience required with skills including Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Mitral valve replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Pericardial window, Carotid angioplasty, and Femoral popliteal bypass graft
• Additional skills required include Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure
• Charting via Cerner
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• NBSTSA national certification strongly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and CST
• Maryland or Compact license must be active and in hand
• Block schedule accommodation available

• Maximum of 1 pre-approved time off request
