<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Float</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Float position requiring assignment across multiple units based on needs including Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and some post-procedural areas<br>• Every other weekend schedule required<br>• Patient ratios of 1:6<br>• Must have 24 months of experience in Progressive Care, Stepdown, Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med Surg/Telemetry<br>• First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of nursing experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized)<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, MOAB<br>• Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with passing score of 80% during onboarding<br>• Experience, comfort, and proficiency required with drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin<br>• Must be able to comfortably read EKG/ECG including all telemetry-related duties and responsibilities<br>• EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Iowa nursing license or compact/multi-state license required<br>• De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI) preferred<br>• NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred<br>• Skills checklist specific to discipline required<br>• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a 130-bed hospital that provides comprehensive medical services across multiple departments including medical-surgical units, behavioral health, emergency department, intensive care, and post-procedural areas.
