Emergency Department RN Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,131.66.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required as needed, including rotation to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU)
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Blocked schedules not approved

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Current Pennsylvania RN license; no license hits accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

Core Skills

• Triage and patient assessment
• IV vasopressor management and arterial line management
• Chest tube management and intubation
• Procedural sedation and blood product administration
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and management
• 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation
• Management of trauma, behavioral health, and neurological conditions
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
