About this role

Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our 99-bed facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (shifts may vary). Some weekend shifts are required, and on-call coverage is needed as assigned. You will not float to other departments. The facility allows up to 24 hours of call-offs per 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ventilators and assist with intubation and extubation procedures
  • Set up and maintain CPAP and BiPAP equipment
  • Obtain and analyze arterial and venous blood gases
  • Perform EKGs
  • Provide care to neonatal through geriatric patients (critical neonatal and pediatric cases are transferred out)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • Wyoming State respiratory therapy license
  • ARRT and CRT certifications
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • NRP certification (the facility will allow you to obtain this during your assignment if needed)
  • Residency requirement: must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Equipment and Systems

You will work with Puritan ventilators, V60 CPAP equipment, and the Quadramed EHR system. You will also utilize BCMA and T systems during your assignment.

Onboarding and Expectations

You will complete a comprehensive orientation program that includes HR prerequisites and department-specific training on workflow and equipment. Dress code requires clean scrubs with no specific color requirement.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,494.07.
