Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with 40-hour orientation
• Work in both neonatal and pediatric units depending on facility needs
• 40-bed unit treating neonates
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Must have at least 1 year experience in level 3 or higher NICU or minimum 1 year PICU experience
• Will accept first-time travelers
• Pennsylvania state license required
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system (preferred)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Must complete pass/fail exam for clearance (3 attempts maximum)
• Pennsylvania fingerprints and childline clearance required
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Skills include aerosol therapy, mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, intubation assistance, and tracheostomy care
