Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call 15 hours per week Friday through Sunday
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interventional special procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid setting required
• Perform procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Assist radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists during procedures
• Prep patients for procedures and demonstrate proper sterile technique
• Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
• Verify patient ID using two patient identifiers and confirm written orders and consent
• Provide patient, family, and support system education including post-procedural home care instructions
• Maintain stock levels and assist with departmental records
• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS; BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS or ACLS Instructor certification preferred upon hire
• High school diploma or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• Must maintain current licensure and BLS certification
• Competency in patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection required
• Must have an understanding of anatomy and pathology and how they affect procedure quality
