LHMC - TRAVEL: RN SCU - NIGHTS

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - SCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Every other weekend requirement minimum<br>• No call requirements for core hours<br>• 5 years of nursing experience required<br>• Preferably more than 2 years ICU experience<br>• Must have experience with vasoactive drips and ventilators<br>• ICU/SCU experience preferred<br>• Occasional float to Medical Surgical unit<br>• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1 on 8-bed unit<br>• Work with equipment including ventilators, ceiling lifts, plumb pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and SCD boots<br>• Use EPIC electronic medical record system<br>• Care for SCU/IMC/MS/Swing patients (swing rarely)<br>• Navy blue scrubs required<br>• Must demonstrate down-to-earth personality, team player attitude, proactive approach, and high standards</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a specialized 8-bed Step-down Care Unit providing intermediate care between intensive care and general medical units.
