ED Registered Nurse Job in Muscatine, IA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Muscatine. This is a 91-day travel contract beginning August 3, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care and professional knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Manage patient care with experience in critical emergency drips, including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Work every other weekend with no on-call responsibilities
• Be prepared to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Current Iowa or Illinois state RN license
• Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract
• Current certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR
• Experience managing critical emergency medications and protocols
• Supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Skills checklist completion within 1 year of submission
• Taxable address required outside 50 miles from facility

Compensation and Terms

• Weekly pay: $2,280.96
• Contract duration: 91 days
• Not eligible if you were employed at this facility within the last 12 months
