Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation
• Varied shifts with various shift lengths and days - must be flexible
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:8 with 1:6 aides during the day and 1:8 during the night
• TCU unit with 32 beds
• May float to Med Surg and Surgical Peds units
• 2-10 years of nursing experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• ACLS not required unless it is an agency requirement
• Equipment utilized includes: Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, tube feeding, NG/G-Tubes, trach care, and PICC/PORT
• Professional nursing attire required
• Orientation time provided for each unit
• Active State of Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
