CVOR Technologist Job in Wichita, Kansas

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas as a CVOR Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day, earning $1,898 weekly.

In this role, you will support cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures in two dedicated heart rooms, with the potential to assist in a third room as needed. You'll maintain 1:1 patient ratios and work alongside experienced surgical teams performing procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in the facility's ECMO program as it restarts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for cardiovascular procedures
• Assist surgeons and perfusionists during open heart and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries
• Document procedures and patient information using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Respond to on-call requirements: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
• Communicate effectively with surgical team members and providers
• Prioritize patient safety and positive patient experience

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Current active Kansas licensure
• BLS certification
• Allied Health Professional credential

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS certification
• Open heart and cardiovascular surgery experience
• Prior Meditech experience
