ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with options: 6:45 AM, 6:45 PM, 11:00 AM, or 3:00 PM start times
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation required
• No floating between units
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
• 2 years of specialty experience AND 1 travel contract required
• Must reside within 75-mile radius (strictly enforced)
• Dress code: Hunter green pants, white top, white jacket
• Work with MEDITECH EMR system
• Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics including minor walk-ins and trauma cases
• Perform own lab draws and IV insertions
• Work in 12-bed unit with 2 trauma bays, 4 fast track clinic rooms, and 1 seclusion room
• Handle approximately 70 patients per day
• Collaborate with 1 MD per shift and 2 mid-levels with staggered shifts
• Work alongside paramedics, ER techs, and nurse externs
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
