Job Details:

• Work as a NICU Respiratory Therapist performing evaluations and patient assessments
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment and physician assistance
• Deliver appropriate patient education, family teaching and support based on patient and family needs
• Identify significant changes in patient condition and take appropriate action
• Perform pain assessments according to standard operating procedures
• Complete all documentation including order entry, verification, electronic medical record (EMR), medication charting, and patient safety reports
• Process patient charges and run verification reports as needed
• Disassemble, clean, assemble respiratory equipment and perform preventative maintenance
• Transport infants to/from referral health systems providing high quality critical care
• Required certifications: North Dakota Respiratory Therapist license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NRP (RQI Partners)
• All certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
