Respiratory Therapist Job in Bridgeport, WV

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist at WVU United Hospital Center, a Trauma Level 2 acute care facility in Bridgeport, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 2, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, night shift
• Weekends included as scheduled
• Weekly pay: $2,338.92

Role Responsibilities

• Provide basic cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas
• Function under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor
• Accept advanced patient care responsibilities as assigned
• Work within a Trauma Level 2 acute care setting

Requirements

• Current license and registration with your state board for respiratory care
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential via NBRC
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Epic system experience required
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy required at submission)
• Must disclose any licensing hits at time of application

Facility Expectations

• Navy blue scrubs required
• No false nails
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• 2 shifts per 13-week contract cancellation policy in effect

You will be an Allied Health Professional holding the Respiratory Therapist credential. Your background in cardiopulmonary function and patient care experience will be essential to your success in this role.
