Operating Room RN Job in Midland, TX

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a travel assignment with an 84-day duration, starting June 22, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,436.48
• Schedule varies weekly with no guaranteed days off; block schedule cannot be approved
• Call required, averaging 3–6 days per 28-day cycle
• Weekend coverage required, averaging every 4th or 5th weekend
• 36 hours of orientation provided

Clinical Responsibilities

• Work across 13 operating rooms with daily census of 35–40 patients
• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Experience needed in general, orthopedic, neurology, trauma, and ENT procedures
• Pediatric experience preferred

Requirements

• 2 years of nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions allowed)
• Willingness to work some holidays
• On-site drug screening required
• All required documentation must be submitted 3 business days prior to start date
