Technologist - Interventional Radiology Lab

Job Details:

• Per diem position working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Weekends are call-only; department is not open on holidays with holiday coverage handled by call only
• Call shifts may require staying late, though overnight and weekend call-ins are infrequent
• Call hours apply to any time outside of regular department hours
• Work in a two-room interventional radiology lab with three holding bays in a small community hospital setting
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2/1:1
• Typical caseload includes thoracentesis, paracentesis, line placements, lumbar punctures, biopsies, drain placements, dialysis work, GI bleeds, UAEs, port placements, G-tube placements and replacements, nephrostomy tube placements and replacements, and chole tube placements and replacements
• Team typically consists of 2-3 technologists and 3-4 RNs per shift
• Must be able to set up tables and scrub with physicians
• Must be able to use Epic to look up patients
• Required to operate Siemens Artis Zee and GE Ultrasound equipment
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
