Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Austin, TX

St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the Electrophysiology Lab. You will work four 10-hour day shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements and no weekend work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart procedures
• Provide electrophysiology preoperative services
• Monitor and support patients in a 6-bed EP lab facility located on the 6th floor
• Work with mapping systems from Biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic
• Utilize the Meditech EMR system
• Demonstrate flexibility with daily case volume fluctuations and schedule changes

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum one year of experience in catheterization lab, electrophysiology lab, interventional radiology, or operating room
• Greater than one year of electrophysiology RN experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment

You will work alongside a cohesive team of 25 staff members including lab nurses, charge nurse, and patient care technicians. The facility provides blue scrubs. This position offers competitive weekly pay of $2,628 for a 91-day contract beginning May 11, 2026.
