Vascular Sonography Tech Job in Hilo, HI

You will work as an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in vascular sonography at Hilo Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with a rotating shift schedule and a weekly pay rate of $2,628.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing vascular ultrasound procedures along with imaging in abdomen, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatal, and superficial structures
• Conducting ultrasound-guided aspirations, biopsies, drainage procedures, and intraoperative ultrasounds
• Operating Canon i700 ultrasound equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS systems
• Working a 40-hour shift schedule with call duties as appropriate
• Floating to other units and departments as needed
• Managing both normal and pathological cases across all ultrasound specialties
• Working with patients ranging from neonatal to adult populations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting as a full-time sonographer
• One prior contract or more preferred
• ARDMS certification (AB, OB, RVT) and active AHA-certified BLS certification required
• Competency to proficiency in multiple ultrasound specialties
