ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment starting ASAP
• Floating between departments required
• No call responsibilities
• 2+ years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC
• NRP certification preferred
• Patient ratio of 4:1 in Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department
• Must provide 2 hours minimum notice for call-outs
• Blocked scheduling not approved
• 48-hour guarantees not approved
• Maximum 1 RTO per 6-week schedule
• Required to work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday dependent on department needs
• Scrub color: Any color full uniform, no t-shirts or hoodies, only undershirts allowed under scrub tops
• Work with MedHost (EDIS) electronic medical record system
• Provide comprehensive emergency care utilizing nursing process in accordance with state practice acts
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Maintain detailed patient care documentation
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
