Med Surg RN Job in Idaho Falls, ID

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. You will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three nights per week, with 48 guaranteed hours weekly at $2,074 per week.

Unit Details

• 39-bed Med/Oncology floor
• Night shift team: 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Required to float to Surgical/Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units as needed

Clinical Environment

• EMR system: Meditech
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Arjo lifts, Novastat, and computers in every room
• Chemotherapy certification preferred

Scheduling and Requirements

• Two weekends per month required; on-call only if low volume
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Medication safety compliance: minimum 98% of all medications safely scanned and administered

Essential Qualifications

• Current RN License
• BLS certification
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Team-oriented approach with ability to build strong patient connections

This assignment begins November 23, 2026, and runs for 91 days. You will be part of a supportive night shift team providing direct patient care on a busy Med/Oncology unit.
