About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a travel position running for 89 days, beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide essential technical support in the interventional radiology department, working closely with physicians to deliver minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your expertise with specialized imaging equipment and procedural protocols will directly impact patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
  • Operate advanced imaging and specialized equipment used in minimally invasive interventions
  • Provide real-time technical support during procedures
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functioning of all IR technology and equipment
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself, patients, and staff
  • Document all procedures accurately and maintain complete patient records
  • Prepare equipment and procedural supplies before each case
  • Follow departmental protocols and infection control standards

Schedule & Compensation

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekly pay is $3,153.60. This 89-day assignment offers you the opportunity to expand your clinical experience in a major academic medical center while maintaining schedule flexibility.

About You

You hold a current credential as an Allied Health Professional in Interventional Radiology Technology. You are detail-oriented, comfortable with complex medical equipment, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and radiation protection. You work well in a fast-paced clinical environment and communicate clearly with the physician and nursing teams.
