Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts
• Must have Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• ASAP starts only
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology, associate's degree in healthcare-related field, or acceptable equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year of experience in acute care setting preferred
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA only, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA only for pediatric facilities
• State Licensure required: Texas MRT or LMRT by TMB
• Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS by CCI, or various ARRT certifications
• Prepare catheterization lab and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Support and anticipate physician needs during procedures
• Perform equipment setup and operation for various cath lab technologies
• Participate in daily room checks and supply stocking
• Adhere to organizational policies for patient safety, privacy, and infection control
• Follow departmental dress code and attendance policy
