Job Details:

• Work in Level 2 trauma operating room with diverse surgical procedures
• Handle trauma cases including gunshot wounds, car accidents, and multiple injury victims
• Support surgical specialties including ENT, general surgery, orthopedic trauma, eye surgery, gynecology, and Gyn oncology
• Work with advanced technology including DaVinci Robots and hybrid room for vascular cases
• 10 operating rooms with average daily census of 32 cases
• Patient population ranges from infants to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Every third weekend schedule unless specified elsewhere
• Call requirements: approximately 7 days per month plus holidays including one weekend per month rotation
• Holiday work required: work one holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Use Epic charting system, Pyxis medication dispensing, and SBAR communication
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Full compliance required to start on time
