ICU RN Job in Dickson, TN

You'll work as an ICU RN at Horizon Medical Center TN in Dickson, providing direct patient care in a 6-bed intensive care unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 4, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60

Your Role

You'll manage patient care with ratios typically at 2:1, though you may have 1:1 or 3:1 assignments as needed. You'll float to the ICU overflow unit when required and work alongside one nurse technician supporting the unit. Your responsibilities include operating advanced equipment such as Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG systems, assisting with procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation, and documenting care through the Meditech system.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Facility Details

You'll work with newest GE ICU monitors in a facility with expanding service lines. The unit is well-equipped and supported by a structured team environment. Dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs.

Onboarding

You'll complete education onboarding with the facility educator to ensure you're prepared for this role and familiar with unit-specific protocols and equipment.
