Oncology RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse with oncology experience for an 8-hour shift role at OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. This is an 89-day travel assignment starting August 10, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,812.

Position Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• APHON chemotherapy certification
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience

Your Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Monitor and note all changes in physician orders for assigned patients
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Deliver competent patient care across a variety of health conditions ranging from simple to complex
• Interact with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at time of discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed

You will work in a pediatric oncology setting where you will provide direct patient care, manage treatment protocols, and support families throughout their hospital stay and discharge process.
