Respiratory Therapist Job in Greenville, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. You will work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with every other weekend coverage required.

Role Overview

You will float between CVICU and PICU units, managing critically ill patients requiring ECMO support. Your responsibilities include:

• Manage patients with post-cardiac surgery, cardiogenic shock, traumatic injury, and ARDS/respiratory failure requiring ECMO
• Operate ECMO devices during bedside cannulation and cannula repositioning procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including Cardiohelp ECMO console, Centrimag ECMO console, and Cardio Quip heater-cooler unit
• Collaborate with ICU RN and RT teams following ECMO order sets and provider direction
• Maintain a patient ratio of 2 patients per shift

Requirements

• Current SC RRT license
• Minimum 3 years respiratory therapy experience with both pediatric and adult ECMO specialist experience
• At least 1 year EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• ECMO specialty device course completion and ongoing CME maintenance
• Eligible to float to other qualified units per census needs

What We Provide

• Weekly pay: $2,721.60
• 24 hours of orientation
