RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rate: $82 per hour
• Start as soon as possible
• Minimum 2 years medical/surgical nursing experience required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification optional
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrate performance consistent with unit and organization standards
• Communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patients
• Handle emergency/crisis situations effectively
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, and considerable physical effort for patient positioning and transfers
• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Maintain flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies
