CVOR Technologist Job in Portsmouth, NH

Portsmouth Regional Hospital NH is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) backfill support. This is a 13-week travel assignment running from August 4, 2025.

Position Details

• Day shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week
• On-call responsibility includes one weekend per month and 2–3 days per week with a 30-minute call-back requirement
• Work within a 3-bed CVOR unit equipped with open heart technology
• Three staff members per OR (typical patient ratio)
• On-call teams consist of 2 RNs and 1 scrub tech
• Scrubs provided by facility

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• New Hampshire license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic experience required
• Scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases preferred

Typical Procedures

• Cardiac: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, LVAD, RVAD, ECMO
• Vascular: EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation and interventions, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions
• Thoracic: VATS, thoracotomy
• Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR system

Compensation and Terms

• Weekly pay: $2,482
• 13-week assignment
• Time-off requests must be included in contract negotiations
