Med Surg RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

You will work as an RN in the Med Surg unit at Mercy Hospital St Louis, providing direct patient care on a neurosurgical floor. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3x12 night shift schedule (36 guaranteed hours per week)
• $1,524.24 weekly pay
• Call and float requirements as needed

Your Role

You will utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with neurological diagnoses including stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, and back, head, and spinal injuries. You will also care for patients undergoing neurosurgery procedures. Your responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinating patient care across departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality at all times. You will maintain professional accountability for all patient care delivery.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Black scrubs required per facility dress code
