Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM depending on location
• No weekend or on-call shifts required
• Float between two locations: Placerville and Cameron Park facilities (approximately 15 miles apart)
• Typically assigned to one facility per week with rare same-day floating possible
• Some General X-ray and DXA procedures may be required if already trained
• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
• Perform fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Follow digital quality assurance procedures, radiation safety, isolation precautions, and universal precautions
• Work with GE equipment and EPIC charting system
• See adult and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (M), CA Mammographic Radiologic Technologist
• No time off requests within the first 2 weeks of the contract and no exceptions after contract is signed
