Pharmacist Inpatient Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient pharmacy services. This is a 91-day travel contract running from October 5, 2026, offering $3,391 weekly compensation.

Schedule & Logistics

• 40 hours per week, days shift between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Apple Hill location approximately 2 miles away
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off per contract
• Holiday coverage required — expected to work 2 of 3 major upcoming holidays
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility

Requirements

• PharmD and RPh (Pennsylvania state pharmacy license)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Inpatient or outpatient oncology experience required
• IV trained with experience in hazardous and non-hazardous medication preparations
• EPIC Beacon experience
• Certifications: BCPS, BLS, Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification, IV Certification

Core Competencies

• Chemotherapy preparation and clinical dosing
• Compounding and sterile technique
• IV piggyback and IV push medications
• Pharmacokinetic, renal, geriatric, and pediatric dosing
• Pyxis and acute care systems
• Patient populations: neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
