Job Details:

• Evaluate patient outcomes and make changes to plan of care within the multidisciplinary team
• Provide explanation and instructions to patients and/or responsible persons regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge planning
• Accept reassignment to other units when necessary
• Share clinical knowledge with staff and students and serve as a role model for clinical practice
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care
• Provide respiratory care as ordered by physician while maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff
• Associate's degree required
• Required credentials: RRT, Illinois License, BLS, and NRP
