NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work in high-risk Level III NICU environment
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling system
• Float required to Pediatrics and Nursery units
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, STABLE
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Must work with neonates 29+ weeks gestational age
• Care for patients with conditions including respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal sepsis, necrotizing enterocolitis, and neonatal abstinence syndrome
• Skills required include ventilator management, central line care, umbilical catheter management, high frequency ventilation, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, and social services
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
