Wound Care RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for Wound Care. This is a travel position with a consistent 5x8 day schedule, running 89 weeks starting September 14, 2026. You will earn $2,416 weekly.

Your Role:

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients according to professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physical with patients and families, ensuring timely completion. You will review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

You will formulate and initiate individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and assessment data. Through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities, you will implement these plans. You will evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed. Documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation must be accurate and timely.

You will provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license
• Wound care certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in wound care
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions required due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
