SLP Job in Alameda, CA

Sutter Health Care at Home Bay Atlantic is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home health services to patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in the Alameda area.

About the Role

You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with stuttering, delayed language, and swallowing disorders. Your responsibilities include:

• Completing patient evaluations and assessments per Speech Pathology Standards of Practice
• Developing and updating Plans of Care (POC)
• Providing treatment and monitoring patient progress
• Completing documentation for charge capture and therapy performed
• Coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members and support staff
• Assisting with clinical supervision of speech assistants and aides
• Serving as clinical instructor for assigned students
• Maintaining accurate medical and departmental records
• Performing general administrative duties including phone coverage and appointment updates
• Inspecting and using equipment per manufacturer specifications

Position Details

This is a full-time home health position with 5 days per week at 8 hours per day. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning May 11, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,995.20.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
• 2 years of clinical experience
• Current BLS certification
• SLP-CF (Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship) credential
• Valid state speech pathology license
• Completion of 7-year work history verification
• Availability for lab work within 3–5 days of signing
• Epic charting experience preferred

You will complete orientation modules during your first week, averaging 1–5 hours. You must maintain a clean, safe working environment and work flexible shift assignments as needed.
