CVOR Technologist Job in Rockford, IL

Swedish American in Rockford, IL is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist to join the surgical team on a travel assignment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Duration: 89 days, starting August 10, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,308.26
• Rotational call coverage required—approximately one call shift per week, which may include Saturday or Sunday (not both). Weekend call is a single 24-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with verifiable credentials
• Proficiency in cardiovascular surgery with ability to scrub independently
• Allied Health Professional credential

What You'll Do

You will work as an independent surgical technologist, scrubbing and assisting in cardiovascular surgical procedures. Your expertise in CVOR protocols and cardiovascular anatomy will be essential to supporting the surgical team and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

This position is available to travel candidates only. Local candidates within 50 miles of Rockford will not be considered.
