Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work varying shifts Monday through Friday with 10-hour days
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be certified
• Broad surgical experience required with emphasis on vascular and orthopedic procedures
• Participate in on-call schedule for after-hours urgent and emergent surgical cases
• Act as scrub person during surgical procedures
• Prepare and handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures
• Maintain understanding of procedures being performed and anticipate surgeon needs
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure quality patient care during operative procedures
• Function under the supervision of a registered nurse
