ICU RN Job in Greenwood, SC

Self Regional Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit in Greenwood, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 30, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,118.

Position Details

• Work schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week, including weekends
• Self-scheduling environment
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Float assignments to CICU and other areas within the organization as needed

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1.5 years of ICU nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio experience of 2:1
• Epic charting system experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 supervisory references
• Keep time off requests to a minimum, preferably none in the first two weeks or for full calendar weeks

Clinical Skills and Experience

You will manage patients with complex, multisystem needs. Required clinical competencies include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial line and central line management, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, mechanical ventilation care, arterial blood gas interpretation, endotracheal and nasotracheal suctioning, and isolation precautions.

Patient Population and Conditions

You will care for patients with GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, cardiac and respiratory arrest, overdose, CIWA and withdrawal, neurosurgical and surgical cases, post-cardiac catheterization, end-of-life care, organ procurement, acute stroke, trauma, and targeted temperature management.

Special Procedures and Equipment

Experience or willingness to learn: CT tube insertion, EVD drains, CRRT, and acute stroke management. Equipment in use includes CRRT machines, Zoll targeted temperature management systems, and EKOS.

Support Services

Interdisciplinary team support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary coverage.
