ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
• Patient ratio: 1:4 with 14 beds available
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system (required), Pyxis, SBAR, and Spacelabs
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Possibility of floating to main campus located approximately 3 miles away
• No call requirements
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period
• 40 hours of orientation with some portions taking place at main campus
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, stroke care, trauma care, and triage
• No IV team on-site, wound care conducted virtually
• No cafeteria available - vending machines provide meal options
• 24-hour ambulance service on-site for patient transfers to higher level of care
