X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Outpatient X-Ray Tech position focused on orthopedic imaging
• No on-call requirements or weekend coverage
• Epic and Siemens experience required
• BLS certification required
• Virginia state license required (emergency authorization available for travelers with active out-of-state license)
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Must be proficient in upper extremity imaging: AC joints, clavicle, elbow, forearm, hand, humerus, scapula, shoulder, thumb/finger, trauma shoulder procedures
• Must be skilled in lower extremity imaging: ankle, calcaneus, femur, foot, knee, patella, tibia-fibula, toes, trauma lower extremity
• Head/chest imaging experience required: chest AP, upper airway, facial bones, paranasal sinuses, skull
• Spine/pelvis imaging capabilities: cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, hip, pelvis, sacrum/coccyx
• Work with patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Facility call-off policy allows 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Required to work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment (2 holidays during winter season)
• Orientation modules completed during first week (2-8.5 hours, billable time)
