Echo Technologist Job in La Crosse, WI

You will work as an Echo Technologist at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, performing adult inpatient and outpatient cardiac sonography. This 13-week contract offers 8-hour day shifts with variable start times at 7:00, 7:30, or 8:30 AM, providing 40 guaranteed hours per week with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing adult cardiac echo studies as your primary focus
• Conducting stress testing and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) as part of your scope
• Performing pediatric cardiac cases when opportunities arise
• Operating Siemens SC2000 ultrasound equipment
• Documenting findings in the EPIC electronic health record system

What you bring:

• Minimum 2+ years of cardiac sonography experience (adult focus required)
• Current RDCS licensure
• AHA BLS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in a relevant field
• IV training certification
• Previous travel healthcare experience
• Completion of a Teams interview with the hiring manager

Holiday rotation is required, with options available for discussion. You will be based at the primary facility with the opportunity to float to the Onalaska clinic as desired. There is no scrub color requirement. Training on facility equipment and systems is available. EPIC charting experience is preferred.
