RN - ER
Job Details:
• Provide high-quality, compassionate, and timely care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, 36-bed Emergency Department
• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients presenting with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions
• Triage patients using evidence-based triage protocols to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate care
• Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policy and provider orders
• Operate and monitor medical equipment including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care testing devices
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, EMS personnel, and other healthcare team members
• Coordinate patient care including diagnostic testing, re-evaluation, disposition planning, and patient education
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
• Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols as required
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and hospital standards
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma or compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings preferred
• Strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and excellent communication skills required
• Must be able to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
